In response to the above review. Fact#1 I left her my business card with a note to call me 5 days prior to replacing my clients fence. I did not receive a call from her and had no way of contacting her when the situation with her panel occurred. Fact#2 My clients fence line was moved to better accommodate him and his yard, as is his right. Also giving this individual complaining an additional 1 foot of property. Fact#3 The new fence line left a gap between her gate and my clients new fence. I actually did put up a small partial (new)panel, attached to my clients new fence to block any foot traffic to this individuals yard and close the gap. I did this as a temporary measure for her (again could not contact her since she did not reach out to me) To which... Fact#4 She called me, telling me her yard was not my responsibility. That she had planned on having it repaired. She made it sound as if it was ridiculous notion to have done anything which benifitted her, and asked me to take it down. I told her then that it would leave a gap, and again I was told it wasn't my place or responsibility to do anything. Fact#5 After taking the small partial panel down she asked me if I was going to replace the post which was there? The answer is "no!" That post was a part of my clients fence which was moved to accommodate his gate. I have both before and after pictures proving this. The only trash left in her yard was the small dilapidated partial panel which didnt include a latch or anything keeping her dilapidated gate secured in the first place. I left it to show her that it fell apart when the fence was removed. Most times when I replace a fence for someone I leave a note with my number to call. Most decent people offer to pay half the costs to my clients fence, as they too benefit from the new fence. This has not happened with this individual. This individual is trying to manipulating the situation into NOT having any responsiblity at all. She has already benifitted by having new fence down the side of her yard. I am not sure why she believes that I should give her a post to her yard, after all, her yard is not my responsibility (which she pointed out) nor is it my clients responsibility. And again the post I removed was in my clients fence and in my clients yard. In 8 years of business I have had only one bad 3 star rating. Everything else has been 4 and 5 stars. Now I have a complaint at the BBB, to which i have an A+ rating, a crappy rating on google, and now this on Networx. Borderline harassment. I do not behave the way she is claiming. My clients know this, and this harassing rating will not change their minds. They will continue to refer me to their friends, family and colleagues. I will not be bullied by bad reviews and behavior to give away services. This business that I have been running for 8 years is my livelihood. I take pride in every project that I do. And always consider what is best for my clients. Putting up a partial panel was in the best interest (albeit, temporary) for all parties. Putting up the panel made it safe from foot traffic. How much worse could she have made this situation had I left a gap in the first place?
