Work Description: Painting & Remodeling
Comments: Lance and his team came to our home and were highly professional. Measured rooms, discussed our needs throughly with us - we wanted multiple rooms painted, cabinets painted, vinyl flooring installed, and remodel of our shower and installation of a farmhouse sink. Following their visit, Chris came out to go over paint colors with us. Team Ginger arrived at our home on 5 June and near finishing of our home was completed o/a 9 Aug. Ginger is superb at painting and insuring her team is the same in doing ceilings, doors, molding, trim, and cabinets. Green Spaces uses high quality paints and DOES NOT THIN their paint to have it go further. They put 2 coats on to insure great coverage. Bruce did a fabulous job on our vinyl flooring installation. Ginger is very detailed oriented in doing backsplash. We have, sadly, one shortfall with Green Spaces, a bathroom shower. It was beyond Ginger’s expertise & Lance should have either had adequate personnel on his team to take on this job or have gotten a subcontractor in right away to do the job. When Lance did contact the subcontractor after viewing the shower (weeks later) at the end of the job, the subcontractor never showed. We were told that he went to the wrong address and, he nor Lance never contacted us during the work day as waited for he and the subcontractor. Lance contacted us later that day. We now need to find another contractor to tear up and replace the shower floor. We do highly recommend Green Spaces for home or commercial painting, cabinet painting (wait until you see Ginger’s meticulous manner on this type of project), vinyl flooring installation, and backsplash.

Comments: I asked Lance to give me a quote for approximately 700sqft. of interior painting. After showing up 1.5 hours late, the quote he gave was 3x what other painters had given me. When I asked him why his quote was so much higher he told me it was because of what he pays his employees. Please correct me if I’m wrong but shouldn’t a quote be based on work being done and supplies needed?
