My name is Dwayne Ehlert, and I worked as an AC installer in Houston in the late 1970s. I left college in 1981 to become an employee at a reputable AC service company and became one of the leading installers and service technicians in the city. I stayed with that company for 35 years and continued to learn more about the field and became a driving force in the company infrastructure.

Comments: Made appointment with Dwayne/Duane at Home & Business yesterday for late morning today. When I texted Dwayne at Home & Business around 11 am for their ETA this morning I was sent a text saying my address was too far, then told to find another provider. At the time I made the appointment Home & Business knew my exact address. If they had issues with distance they had a good 18 hours to contact me. Had I never contacted Home & Business this morning I would still be waiting. A no show and no contact when breaking a business appointment is lousy unprofessional service. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Comments: Dwayne came out reviewed the situation, I told him what the other 3 companies said, and were going to charge me as high as $1552.00 to replace a coil on a 5 year old unit, one company tried to sell me a new unit. Dwayne looked everything over, recalibrated my system to the right standards and added coolant and my system is running great, and saved me so much money over the other 3 companies. My cost was only coolant and labor under $200.00. Gave out his info to my surrounding neighbors and will recommend his service, friendly, honest and a company I trust.

Comments: Work done very professionally done, answered all my questions, completed work as soon as expected, kept work areas clean, test operated both AC and furnace, explained how to program the new thermostats, very compative on pricing without making any price changes,only paid what was quoted.
