Work Description: Retaining Wall
Comments: I have a new found respect for concrete! We just bought a home that’s over 100 years old with a sloped backyard. We discovered was that the cedar fence was also being used as a retaining wall to hold back our entire backyard. We found this out not from the inspector but when a fencing company came out and give us a bid to replace the fence. Basically they couldn’t do any work until an actually retaining wall was put in. I met with at least eight different landscaping and concrete companies with beds between $2000 and $28,000 crazy right!? In any case after meeting with Leslie twice and reviewing the other bids we decided to move forward. Leslie‘s team showed up three days straight dug a trench in front of the fence, laid down some concrete, put 4 feet of cement blocks, filled the gap with gravel, and are the nicest guys. I will be hiring them again to do some additional concrete work on our garage and potentially tuck pointing on our chimney. Great job guys!
