Work Description: Wood Fence Install
Comments: On 6/4/2021 Olympic Home Services Inc provided an estimate for a hog wire and cedar wood fence. We specifically discussed a 20’ X 30’ fence and that is what we believed Ron was going to build. He said he bid a 20’ X 20’ fence but we have text message that stated length of fence will be 30’ with a total cost of $6,242.95 and he responded with a yes. Also a few craftsmen fence issues that I addressed with Ron that he failed to correct (pics included) spit wood & screw showing that he covered with putty not what we believed was correct or a fair compromise.In the end Olympic Home Services Inc provided an estimate for a 30’ x 20’ for $6,242.95 which cost the homeowner $7,753.82 that is $1,510.87 delta because Ron Wells mis bid the firm fixed price project and he insisted the homeowner pay the difference to finish project or he would have left project not complete. I am very displeased with the workmanship and Ron not honoring a firm fixed price agreement.

Work Description: Install Pre-Hung Door
Comments: Certainly not our best experience. Ron (the owner) claims to have over 40 years of experience which (sorry to say) is not reflected on his work; average craftsmanship and unfinished work. In fact, the guy walked away and never showed up again after paying for labor (painting a pre-hung door and others). To his advantage there were times when I didn't provide the right materials for certain tasks. However, having said that, the guy could have completed other tasks. He would "vanish" for a few days and finally when contacted by phone/text another excuse was invented. He probably had other big and better fish to catch but that doesn't give him the right to leave people stranded with uncompleted jobs. I would never recommend Olympic Home Services Inc to anybody.

Work Description: All skills necessary for bathroom remodel
Comments: Ron immediately impressed me with his qualifications, personality, and interest in our needs. I trust his judgment and recommendations. His estimate was well within reason. He assisted us in the selection of materials, which was very helpful and assuring. He is a reliable, skilled, and efficient worker. Ron has completed all the plumbing, sheet rock repair, and flooring prep. I am confident we will be thrilled with our bathroom remodel--just awaiting receipt of back-ordered materials.
