Work Description: Vinyl/PVC Fence Repair
Comments: NOT RECOMMENDED!! James and his 1 man crew showed up without the proper equipment. No post hole digger. We had to provide extention cords and bottled water. They installed 6 vinyl posts in a horse pasture. They broke up the old cement and put it next to the vinyl posts before cementing everything. The next day after the cement dried, several posts wobbled with some cement visible 12" below grade. So either they didn't use cement or didn't use the proper amount for some posts. Unbelievably, they installed an end-post (for a gate) in the middle of a row of line posts when several line-posts were nearby. No rails were installed. We paid him $600 cash, no receipt given. Later he call, demanding full-payment (+$300) before coming back to "finish the job". When I pointed out the install problems he blamed his "Mexican". then called me a bitch several times and a Karen, and told me I couldn't sue him for because we had no contract.Palinkas Fencing (and James from NY) should have their California contractors license suspended for substandard workmanship and unprofessional, abusive, bullying behavior towards a woman who paid him $600 for garbage work. James refused to answer if his "Mexican" helper was legal.
