Comments: Ruben Vasallo, the technician from Sweetwater Plumbing, came on Monday morning approximately an hour after I called and gave me an estimate to do the job.Three days prior to his coming, I received a letter from the Water District telling that their system detected a continuous leak in the property resulting in a loss of 42 gal/hr. I could not find any leak in the bathrooms or faucets inside and outside. I could not find any leak in the sprinkler system which would result in water flowing or puddles on the ground.
After testing what needs to be done, Ruben determined that the water leak is not on the underground pipe between the meter near the road and the pipe outside the garage which is controlled by a valve but rather the leak is occurring in a pipe under the garage slab just before the water goes inside the house.
Ruben gave an estimate of $2,200 to repair it which I accepted. On the third day, he came to do the repair and am glad with his work. when he was finished, he made sure there is no more leak(s) and left my property clean.

Comments: The person who scheduled the appointment from Sweetwater Plumbing was professional. She told me that they would have a plumber out that day--arriving in the mid to late afternoon since they had four appointments before ours. I asked her if the plumber could call me when he/she was on their way to our house. She said yes. We waited around all afternoon 12 noon to 6 p.m. and they never showed up. And they never called to apologize for missing the appointment or try to even reschedule. After calling them many times up through 5:30 p.m.-ish we looked for another company/plumber and one graciously agreed to come over in the early evening that same day and was great. The price was $60 more than what Sweetwater was charging...but I guess you get what you pay for. I would not go with Sweetwater. Very unprofessional to not show or or call after missing the appointment.
