Comments: This company painted the exterior of my home. Within 2 years of them painting my home the paint started peeling to the point it doesn’t even look like it has ever been painted.I have contacted the company and their response was that the reason the 15 year paint is peeking is due to the way the rain is hitting the area.
This doesn’t make sense.
I have called, emailed and tried to reach the company and they ignore my request and refuse to correct the problem.
I want buyers to beware that this company does not honor their workmanship, product or warranty.
They are unprofessional and if I could give them a no star rating I would.

Comments: TCB seems to have a good reputation with plenty of great reviews. Our salesman seemed very confident in the companies ability to execute what we wanted. Unfortunately it went downhill after we signed the contract.The chair rail removal and subsequent drywall repair was very disappointing. After several attempts to correct the work it has still fallen short of our expectations that were set by the salesman and project manager. Even after the crew was sent back for touch ups for the paint, I still am finding myself fixing mistakes that were made 1 month later.
Some of our disappointment could have been mitigated with simple communication from our project manger. However, after expressing my concerns to him on several calls throughout the job, there was never any follow up to address what had been done to fix the issues. It took 2 days before I was contacted once the job was “completed”. During that time 4 large contractor bags of trash and chair rail were sitting in our front yard.
I want to believe it is a good company, and perhaps we were simply assigned a subpar crew and project manager, but unfortunately it has resulted in an overall disappointing experience due to expectations, poor communication and subpar quality.

Comments: David, the salesman who worked up my quote was very good. I got 3 other quotes and based on what David told me, I was excited to have Christian Bros Painting start my project. It's too bad that the work crew didn't follow through on what David said they would do. Everything went down hill the first day. The project Manager was supposed to call me to let me know what time they'd start. Never heard from him until I contacted the office the morning of my start day. So the crew shows up at 10am.ark, the project manager walks around the house and tells me the crew has to go get the power wash equipment. Now, why wouldn't they already had it, knowing that's what they're going to start doing that day?Mark said they'd be back in 1 hour. Two hours later, still no crew. I call Mark and he said they'll be there in 5 mins. They finally show up 30 mins later, but don't have a hose long enough to power wash the back. So they ask me if they can use my hose. They finally get started around 3:30pm. Might you, start time was supposed to be 10am. After an hour they take off for the day. Day 2 and Mark is supposed to call me to status me because of the rain. By 11am, no call, so I message him. Weather forecast says no more rain until 6pm. Mark finally messages me back saying the crew won't be working today or tomorrow. And he'll touch base with me on Monday. I understand delays due to weather. But it's the lack of communication that I have a problem with. Would not recommend them.

Comments: his was about the 4th time I'd hired TCBP for reno projects, even having referred them to a client or two for exterior paint. WILL BE THE LAST TIME. They subcontract everything out, have whats supposed to be a project manager that should be visiting the site and in-office personnel. We had just installed brand new vinyl windows, exterior doors and sliding doors (2) before painting our current house that we are flipping.The painter that was subcontracted had other jobs that became a priority, leaving occasionally to take care of other projects. One day he left a very junior (and according to the sub, a recent hire, that basically does caulking) here on site by himself to start painting the exterior siding. That employee ate through 20 gals of paint&primer; to cover approximately 1,800sf of surface area!
But where it gets terrible is the subcontractor returning, finishing the exterior painting and in the process painting over a portion of all the vinyl window and sliding door frames, including the weep holes that allow water to shed. When I notified the project manager, he reviewed and had the subcontractor attempt to clean the paint from the frames. The sub and his wife used razor blades against the vinyl frames, destroying the weep holes, ripping some put entirely and cutting and scratching the frames. Some of the weep holes were left inside the window frames. There is no way to thoroughly clean the frames in the corners to remove the bronze colored paint...therefore they no longer look 'new'. This was even echoed by TCBPs in-house process manager when he (Mike McCarty) came out to look at the issues.
The sub spilled white paint in the backyard, and rather than avoid it...tracked it through the garage/carport area. Left various places that were pointed out on a walk-thru incomplete. Had stored his paint rig inside the house overnight (with my permission) but had opened the door without allowing the paint to dry and swept white paint across the stained threshold. Upon closer exam, various spots were not scraped after power washing to remove flaked, old paint which was part of the contract and is now also causing issues Im having to go back on myself.
I gave TCBP an opportunity to settle the matter, adding an amount for damage to brand new windows and sliders rather than push for them to replace them to the condition they were in before they were hired and butchered them. Needless to say, they have not responded to what I believe was a fair offer. Half of the replacement cost, a portion of which they could write off in the labor they were charging me for the paint job since I bought materials. Too bad, I now will have to file with their insurance.

Comments: sub contractors and then doesn’t manage them appropriately. We were estimated 2000$ to perform siding repair and paint our house. We confirmed this 3x prior to starting the project since the original quote was much higher for all sides of our house to be painted and we only wanted 2. The first day our workers left after an hr and never came back. Couldn’t get ahold of the project manager due to a broken phone (understandable). Second day they show up after calling 4 different people and start to paint over rotten siding (I assume they didn’t think we would notice). Still couldn’t get ahold of the project manager. They again left early. Third day they show up late 2:00pm and we were told they weren’t going to come since it was cold (55 degrees outside). This time the leader of the crew takes over and asks specifically what is to be done since no one is communicating with him. Things were not done that were in the contract and extras that shouldn’t have been, were done. Extra siding needed replacing which we were told we’d get a break for. Project ends, project manager is again sick and unable to get ahold of. Contracted items weren’t completed until extra, extra reminding. Then we find out we owe an additional 2,000$! We expected another 1000, contract clearly stated a price which the account manager stated was never the correct price and he was losing money at that price. This is after we confirmed it 3x! Bottom line, this company needs to change its name, these are not honest Christian values and we were baited and switched from the start. Stay away! Oh and the 995$ whole house painting is a joke. Just paint alone for our house was 1500$ that’s for 2/4 sides.
