Comments: Ty saved my backsplash dreams. I had a previous contractor who tried to rip me and my husband off for what I absolutely knew should not have cost what he was charging. I fired the guy and was referred to Ty. He contacted me promptly. Communicated consistently without me having to constantly text or call. He was very professional and absolutely DOES care about the quality of his work. To each is own but it’s difficult for a contractor to come in and fix someone else's job and its unfair to ask for perfection in anything because I have found from the foundation up, no house is even built perfectly. So when you have someone come and bring your vision to life it’s pretty cool. Ty had to work with some really sensitive mosaic tiles I selected and he crushed the job!! I love it and it looks great! He came every day he said he would and made my job a priority. He will always be my tile guy!!

Comments: When Ty came out to the house, he told me the job would be about 3 days even though I knew it would be about a week. We hired him and the entire time he was unprofessional! He would come to the house when he felt like it and left when he felt like it. He did not communicate when he was done for the day or if and when he would show up again. He worked at most 2 to 3 hours a day, maybe 3 days a week. The work he did was awful with no concern for details. It looked like it was done by someone who didn't know how to do the work or someone who had no regard for the quality of their work. Today is almost the end of week 3 and he finally came back after disappearing for a week. He refused to fix the tile that was set incorrectly and just started grouting. When my husband and I, again insisted that he do the work correctly, Ty had a temper tantrum and took a hammer to the tile. When he was done destroying the tile and my husband calmly asked him to leave, the only thing he said was that he should have not broken the tile so he could put a lien on the home.
